Studio Policies for Private Violin Students

Lessons are paid for by the month, and are due on the last lesson of the month for the following month.   The studio is open 48 weeks throughout the year, closed for two weeks  in August and two weeks in December.   The monthly rate is determined by the lesson rate  (depending on length of lesson), multiplied by 48 weeks,  and divided into 12 months.

30 minutes:  $120/month
45 minutes:   $180/month
60 minutes:  $240/month

Cancelations: On the last lesson of the month, when you pay for lessons, we will review the coming month’s schedule and make adjustments if necessary.    If during the month you unexpectedly need to reschedule a lesson, please  let me know at least 24 hours in advance. We may be able to reschedule if the studio schedule permits but this is not guaranteed.  If no advance notice is given, no make-up lesson is available.

In the event that I need to cancel a scheduled lesson, we will either adjust the monthly rate or credit towards the next month.

Occasionally , there is an additional cost for special events:  I do try to divide any costs evenly among participating students and do not profit from any of these events.
